Deep Inlet Broodstock Capture – 28,800 in Net Pens

F/V Kalliste completed the capture of chum at Deep Inlet. Thanks Carlos Schwantes and crew. We will tow the pens to Medvejie on Monday (tomorrow). We will conduct a survey of broodstock numbers in Silver Bay and Bear Cove on Monday to determine whether we are secure on broodstock. If secure, we will announce a re-opening schedule.

Currently we have 14 million eggs of the 83 million eggs needed, with 60% male ratio through the first week of spawning. We are getting very close to re-opening. Thank you for your patience.
