NSRAA now has the option of using either a flat rate or percentage for the Hidden Falls Assessment Tax and the board decided to recommend a flat rate of $0.10 per pound for the 2015 season. This rate was approved by the Department of Revenue and is currently in the final process of review, with the comment  period ending June 5.

The first commercial seine opening at Hidden Falls will be on Sunday, June 21.

• Rate: the 2015 tax rate is $0.10 per pound
• Species: the tax applies only to chum salmon

• Taxation Period: June 15-July 31
